Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week surgical nursing position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and rotating weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Hospital operating room setting
Day shift schedule, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Rotating weekend requirement
36 hours per week
Provides perioperative care to patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
Addresses psychological, socio-cultural, and educational needs of surgical patients and their support persons
Care encompasses the full surgical continuum, from pre-procedure through the patient's return to normal daily activities
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
Operating room nursing experience required
