Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position in Sioux Falls, SD, requiring a BSN and at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Post-acute care setting in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF)
• Current census of 42 beds with a patient population of elderly residents with multiple diagnoses
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM), full-time
• Patient ratios vary; days typically run 1:21, with a maximum of 1:42
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Point Click Care (PCC) EMR system in use
• Both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts are utilized at this facility
• Orientation consists of 1 day of facility orientation followed by up to 3 days of supervised floor training with staff
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are subject to local pay rates
• No on-call or call-back shifts are available for this position
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — South Dakota (SD) or Compact state license required
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) preferred
