Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel position requiring Epic proficiency and ACLS certification, with night shift availability and a 1:2 patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Work setting is a hospital ICU caring for trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Night shift position working 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating may be required within scope to the IMC unit to meet facility needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced local pay rate
• Maximum of 1 RTO request allowed during the contract

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required; pending license accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
