Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a specialized Pediatric CVICU position in Indianapolis, IN, requiring at least 2 years of experience and availability for night shifts, on-call, and every other weekend.

Details

• New and specialized 8-bed CVICU connected to a 14-bed PICU within a hospital setting
• Cares for pediatric cardiac patients both pre- and post-operatively
• Works closely with surgical and intensivist teams
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call availability required
• Subject to floating to PICU, Peds, and NICU

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana or a compact state license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued): BLS, PALS, NRP, NRP Advanced (American Academy of Pediatrics), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scheduling flexibility required to accommodate surgical cases
• Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• NIH Certification renewals: Group A annually, Groups B–F every 2 years
