Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Telemetry night shift position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of experience, ACLS, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within an acute care hospital setting
• Unit features 24 beds, including 9 cardiac stepdown beds and 15 med/surg beds
• Estimated patient ratios of 1:3-5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekday and weekend shifts required, with every other weekend worked
• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Cardiac and IV insulin drip (GTT) experience preferred

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate care skills required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide progressive care nursing to a mixed PCU and med/surg patient population, with a focus on cardiac stepdown cases
• Candidates may change representation without a mandatory break between assignments
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
