Description

American Traveler is seeking a hybrid Nuclear Medicine Technologist registered in both Nuclear Medicine and CT, with at least 1 year of experience and Epic EMR proficiency, for a day shift contract position in South Carolina.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Hybrid role requiring proficiency in both Nuclear Medicine and CT imaging
• Procedures include PET scans
• Required equipment: Siemens; GE and Philips experience preferred
• Epic EMR used; 1 year of Epic experience required
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine: ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required
• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification required for positions in South Carolina
• SCRQSA certification required
• Current BLS required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the relevant flagship Prisma Health hospital to be eligible for this position, as it falls under the CT Tech radius rule exception
• Hunter green scrubs required
