Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU/MICU experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• ICU/CCU/MICU unit in an acute hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Meditech EMR in use
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Schedule rotates 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next (36/48 weekly rotation)
• 13-week assignment
• Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
• Two professional references are required
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/MICU experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
