Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensed in Michigan for an outpatient position requiring at least 1 year of swing bed, acute, and outpatient PT experience.

Details

• Outpatient setting with swing bed and acute care coverage
• Schedule options: Tuesday–Friday 7:30am–6:00pm, OR Monday & Wednesday 8:00am–4:30pm with Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 9:30am–6:00pm
• On-call required approximately one Saturday per month, with potential to decrease to one Saturday every other month

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PTA institution required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in swing bed, acute, and outpatient PT settings required
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Active Michigan PT license required at time of consideration; Michigan license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Full-time employees of the hiring health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Skills checklist is not required but preferred for non-nursing professions
