Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a night shift, weekend-only position requiring 2+ years of recent MRI experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• MRI unit in a Joint Commission-accredited, Certified Primary Stroke Center hospital
• 1 MRI scanner (GE 1.5T Discovery 450) with 1 table
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures (no X-ray involvement)
• EMR: Meditech
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Position requires the ability to work independently with no on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• ACLS preferred but not required
• License required if applicable
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures using a GE 1.5T Discovery 450 scanner
• Must be able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment; critical thinking and flexibility are essential
• The facility has received 5-star recognition for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years
• All black scrubs required
• 13-week contract
