Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Dallas, TX, requiring a valid TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12s)
• 13-week contract
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Cares for laboring patients, with exposure to COVID-positive patients
• Mother/baby, postpartum, and vaginal examination experience is a plus
• Navy or royal blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or Red Cross), NRP (AHA or Red Cross; NALS also accepted)
• ACLS required
• Basic or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
