Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position in Pagosa Springs, CO, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and active Cerner EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Adult Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM, 3 days per week
• 13-week contract
• Responsibilities include administering nursing care in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the life span and the ability to assess and interpret patient data to meet age-specific care needs

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• ER RN experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Basic computer proficiency required
