Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with ARRT MRI certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience, including teaching facility and Epic EMR experience, for a rotating shift contract in Vermont.

Responsibilities

• MRI Services department at an academic teaching facility
• 10-hour rotating shifts, Monday through Sunday
• Every weekend is required
• 72 hours biweekly
• Must be flexible with scheduling — no block schedules permitted
• Epic EMR is used on the unit
• This position follows an Interview-to-Offer process
• Bi-weekly Monday orientations are offered
• Employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and may be eligible at a different pay rate; candidates living 51–100 miles away fall under a separate rate tier — distance is measured in a straight line, not by driving distance

Requirements

• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
• Academic teaching facility experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required — non-negotiable
• At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor are required for consideration, with at least one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable
