Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and active ARDMS and RVT credentials for a 13-week assignment supporting both an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital.

Details

Supports both an outpatient clinic and an affiliated acute care hospital
Vascular ultrasound unit with general sonography responsibilities
Charting performed in Epic
Variable weekly schedule with a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
Shift start times vary: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, and 8:30 AM–9:00 PM
Alternating day and evening shifts
Weekend rotation of approximately one 12-hour weekend shift every 4 to 6 weeks
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/vascular experience required
Vascular experience is specifically required for this role
Active ARDMS credential required in at least one of the following specialties: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric, or MSK; credentials in multiple specialties preferred
Active RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential required
Current AHA BLS required
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program; qualifying education includes a two-year Allied Health certificate, Associate of Applied Science degree, or Bachelor's degree
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
License required if applicable
Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
No RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment
Maximum of 7 days of RTO per assignment; all RTO requests must be finalized and submitted upfront
Navy blue scrubs required for Ultrasound Technologists
