Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Ultrasound Tech with 2+ years of registered echocardiography experience for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Work in the Noninvasive Cardiology unit performing echocardiogram studies
- Weekend schedule covering Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility
- 16-20 hours per week
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography technologist
- RDCS or RCS certification required
- Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography
- Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
- BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
- ACLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Strong technical skills and clinical judgment to function independently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Additional Information
- Perform quality, complete echocardiogram studies with professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Boston, MA to qualify for local rates
