Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 5x8 day shift contract, open to first-time travelers and local candidates.

Details

• Acute care hospital nuclear medicine department setting
• Two shift options available: Shift A from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and Shift B from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
• On-call responsibilities follow Shift B (8:30 AM–5:30 PM): the assigned tech is on-call from end of shift until 10:00 PM for the entire week of that rotation, including any weekend days worked
• On-call is utilized for emergent exams only
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
• CNMT certification required
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency in drawing venous blood and starting and maintaining IVs
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
• Experience in storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
