Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Springfield, TN, requiring at least 2 years of cath lab experience and an active TN or Compact RN license.

Details

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) in a 109-bed hospital setting
• Procedures performed include LHC, R/LHC, stent placement, peripheral angio, LINQ implant/explant, generator changes, and pacemaker implants
• Equipment used includes Philips cath lab system and Merge hemo monitoring
• Charting is performed in Meditech EMR
• Day shift with call: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care for cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures, including pre- and post-procedure patient management
• Critical thinking skills are essential for this role
• Navy blue scrubs required; not provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
