Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position in Florence, AL, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and an AL or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 18-bed Med/Surg unit (Floor 3400) in a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Charting via Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required
• Scrub color: royal blue
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Prior Med/Surg experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
