Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in Connecticut, requiring 2+ years of LDRP experience and a current CT RN license.

Responsibilities

• Night shift position with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend is required
• Some on-call shifts are required
• Unit scope includes Couplet Care, attendance at all deliveries, Low Risk Antepartum, and Transition Nursery
• Occasional float as helping hands (no patient assignment) to Med/Surg or Senior Behavioral Health, rotating in 2-hour increments
• Timekeeping system: Kronos
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Northwell/Nuvance Health location may be subject to an eligibility review process before consideration
• Travelers will be required to complete onboarding modules prior to the assignment start date

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted CT RN license required (or documented proof of completed application)
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP - Advanced certifications required (AHA-issued only)
• C-EFM certification through NCC required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (EFM) required — Advanced EFM is NOT accepted as a substitute
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above, within the prior year, in the same specialty
