Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Trauma ICU position in Keene, NH, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• 10-bed ICU unit within a Level III Trauma hospital
• Patient population spans adolescent to geriatric
• RN-to-patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week)
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
• May float to PCU
• Epic EMR (required)
• Proficiency with arterial lines, IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasopressors required

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Arterial line experience required
• Personal vehicle required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Charge nurse and preceptor experience a plus

Additional Information

• 13-week contract based in Keene, NH
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration; RTO requests after submission will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Block scheduling and schedule accommodations cannot be accommodated for this position
• Candidates currently working a concurrent permanent or travel assignment will not be considered
• All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 72 hours of offer acceptance
