Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Burbank, CA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT or NMTCB certification.

Responsibilities

392-bed acute care hospital setting
Nuclear Medicine department
4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
May float between the outpatient center and the main hospital
Charting system: Meditech; Epic experience required
Free parking available on-site
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted for this position
All requested time off (RTO) must be noted at the time of submission; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
Scrubs of any color are acceptable

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
Current BLS certification required
ARRT or NMTCB certification required
California state license required if applicable
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
SSN and DOB required for consideration
