Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Torrance, CA, requiring AWHONN Advanced certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a 356-bed acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating required to Mother Baby unit and potentially to a second facility location within the state
• Weekend availability is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP
• Epic EMR experience required
• Precepting skills preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
