Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

• Labor & Delivery unit within a 377-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• Floating required between like units and across facilities within the state
• Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion
• Epic EMR required
• Free parking available
• Scrubs may be any color; L&D and OR scrubs are provided

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; post-offer RTO requests are subject to denial
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
