Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with 1+ year of experience performing general, vascular, and echo studies for an evening shift contract at a hospital-based ultrasound unit.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound unit performing general, vascular, and echocardiography studies
• Evening shift: Wednesday–Friday, 4:00 PM–10:00 PM (18 hours per week)
• 6-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Meditech EMR — experience preferred
• Philips ultrasound equipment used

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience required
• Proficiency in general ultrasound, vascular studies, and echocardiography required
• ARDMS certification required
• Active KY or compact license required if applicable
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• 2 references required for consideration
• AHA-issued certifications required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered, provided they are experienced sonographers
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions will be granted for travelers
• On-site drug screening may be conducted on the first day of the assignment
• Floating may occur in accordance with the candidate's clinical experience and scope
