Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Lake Placid, FL, requiring AHA certifications, NIHSS, and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• ICU setting within a hospital environment
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Floating required between up to three nearby facilities (Lake Placid, Sebring, and Wauchula), all within 30 minutes of each other — staff are notified 90–120 minutes prior to shift when floating outside of primary site
• Weekends are required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required; 5 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required

• A 15-minute pre-shift huddle is required and is paid time
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
