Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Maine, requiring an active ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 1-3 years of PACU experience.

Details

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting within a hospital environment
Day shift schedule
Required to work every other weekend if requested by the Department Manager or Supervisor
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Maine RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS (or obtained within 30 days), ACLS (or obtained within 90 days), and PALS (or obtained within 1 year)
1-3 years of experience preferred
ASN required; BSN preferred
Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and a collaborative team-oriented approach

Additional Information

Performs patient care functions under the supervision of a Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments before being required to leave the facility for a minimum of 26 weeks before returning
