Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Epic experience and FHM/NRP certifications on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Level 1 LDRP unit with a Level 1 nursery
• Unit staffed according to AWHONN staffing guidelines
• Patient care includes low-risk L&D, mother/baby, antepartum, and postpartum cases
• Skills utilized include NST, reflex checks, external and continuous fetal monitoring, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy/phlebotomy, APGAR scoring, pain management, triage, and emergency care
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every third weekend required
• Holiday coverage may be required

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum continuum in a Level 1 LDRP setting
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must be clean-shaven to pass a respirator fit test — CAPRs and PAPRs are not available and personal respiratory devices are not permitted on-site; no exceptions will be made
