Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience, EPIC proficiency, and an active FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Uses EPIC as the primary documentation system
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required, or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period, based on unit needs
• On-call required as needed
• Floating required to all four hospitals within the health system
• Block scheduling may be accommodated based on unit need and manager approval

Requirements

• Active FL state or compact RN license required at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM/EFM) through AWHONN
• Preferred certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced
• EPIC experience required
• 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required between 10/31 and 3/31 (medical and religious exemptions accepted)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius restriction
• Candidates who have previously held an internal contracted position must wait at least 1 year after their end date before being eligible
• All requested time off must be finalized and submitted upfront — RTO will not be accepted after an offer is made
• Scrubs are provided in any solid color; tops and bottoms must match with no logos or prints
