Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract, with a preference for candidates who also have inpatient or subacute experience.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy setting
- Primary patient population is orthopedic, with additional exposure to geriatric, pediatric, and vestibular patients
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours (8:00–16:30)
- No call, weekend, float, or holiday requirements
- Charts using Redoc EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Outpatient experience required; candidates with additional inpatient or subacute experience strongly preferred
- Active PT license required; pending license may be accepted if active by start date
- Current BLS certification required
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

- Teal scrubs or business casual attire required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- All time-off or scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront
