Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I Trauma experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Works in an Emergency Department (ED) within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Urban Level I Trauma ED environment
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Charting performed in Epic
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of ED experience required
• Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI
• Epic EMR experience
