Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position in Springdale, AR, requiring 2+ years of telemetry experience and an AR or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit (Floor 10) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required
• Floating to Med/Surg and Bariatrics units required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required
• Valid US driver's license required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to deliver patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical leadership in planning and prioritizing safe patient care
• Delegates care responsibilities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
