Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position in Kansas City, MO, requiring at least 2 years of LTAC experience and active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Details
- Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting
- Unit: Chronic Care (LTAC/Telemetry)
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 6-week contract
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN license or compact multi-state RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI/RCIS certifications are not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for shift accountability of patient care using the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in safe care delivery
- Delegates patient care priorities and provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must disclose the facility name, dates worked, and reporting manager
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate
- All certifications must be valid and not expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
