Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab/Med-Surg night shift position in Albany, NY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation and Med-Surg unit (PM&R) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Rehab or Med-Surg nursing required
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required — candidates without it will not be considered
• US Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted (personal and religious declinations are not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
• 13-week contract
