Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

• Emergency Department setting at a large academic medical center in Albany, NY
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
• Current AHA or RQI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the Emergency Department
• Epic EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations will not be accepted

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• A competency test will be sent to the candidate's email and must be completed within 24 hours
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
