Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Adult ICU/CCU night shift position in Westminster, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• CCU/ICU unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 12-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/critical care RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, administering IV fluids and medications, managing ventilators and IABP, suctioning, monitoring vitals, and responding to life-saving situations
• May care for pre- and post-operative patients in addition to acute critical care cases
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must disclose prior employment details
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
