Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week assignment at a hospital OT department in Georgia, supporting a wide variety of medical and surgical patients.

Details

• Acute care OT department within a hospital setting
• Supports patients across the hospital based on physician orders, including ICU, stroke/neurological, orthopedic, and general debility cases
• 8-hour day shifts, 8:30am–5:00pm, schedule may vary
• 5 shifts per week
• EMR: Cerner (OneChart)

Requirements

• Active Georgia OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, specifically within acute care
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide occupational therapy services to acute care patients across a broad range of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
• AHA certifications submitted must be current and unexpired
