Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3/2 split schedule: alternating between 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next
- Alternating weekend requirements
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Cerner EMR in use
- 8-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or Mississippi) required
- Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- A valid driver's license is required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded; standard experience requirements apply
