Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a PACU position at a hospital in the Atlanta, GA area, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale.

Details

• Hospital PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) setting
• Patient population includes immediate post-surgical patients recovering from general anesthesia
• Variety of surgical procedures including Gynecology, ENT, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Bariatrics
• Monday through Friday, 10-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for the care and monitoring of post-surgical patients recovering from general anesthesia
• Royal Blue scrubs required
• Any time off (RTO) requests must be submitted upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment before being considered
