Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a critical access hospital, requiring a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience and a valid WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting with 25 beds and a Level IV Trauma Center
• Labor & Delivery unit averaging approximately 300 deliveries per year
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, though may extend to 1:5 depending on admissions and discharges
• Two nurses on per shift in the L&D unit
• OB nurses cover Postpartum patients when no Labor patients are present
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekday shifts with some weekend requirements
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Scrubs are not provided; any color scrubs are acceptable
