Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) night shift position in Chesterfield, MO, requiring 2 years of experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting in Chesterfield, MO (western St. Louis County)
• Rehab Nursing unit spanning floors 1, 2, and Garden/Lower Level — 81 private rooms
• Adult patient population (18+) recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratios approximately 1:6-7 (day) and 1:8 (night); each nurse has a dedicated tech
• Float requirement within 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in MO or a compact state license currently in hand
• Current BLS (CPR) certification — RQI certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Flu vaccination or an approved facility exemption required prior to working on-site

Additional Information

• CRRN certification is preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Black scrubs required; agency-provided ID badge must be worn
• Candidates who do not receive the flu vaccine must submit a completed facility-specific exemption form and wear a mask from November 1 through March 31
