Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with ARDMS certification and OB/GYN experience for a 13-week radiology ultrasound assignment in the Boston area.
Details
- Radiology Ultrasound department in an acute care hospital setting
- OB/GYN cases are a key component of the caseload
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (evening shift)
- 40 hours per week
- Some on-call required
- Epic EMR
Requirements
- ARDMS certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- OB/GYN ultrasound experience preferred
- Active MA license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted — license required if applicable
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- No validated parking is available at this location; public transportation and public parking lots are available nearby (daily parking rates apply)
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- Any requested time off must be disclosed prior to or at the time of consideration

Pros
Brigham and Women’s Faulkner hospital is wonderful place to work! The unit is brand new, and the team truly works together and supports one another! and I really appreciate the smooth workflow within the unit.
Cons
The work schedule is great—I really appreciate the flexibility and the variety of shift options available, especially for nurses. Housing can be expensive and sometimes difficult to find. Traffic and commuting can also be hectic at times.
