Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and every other weekend availability.

Details

• Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend coverage required, with weekend scheduling directed by unit operational needs
• Floating required to Telemetry and/or Med-Surg units as needed (float units have a 1:5 or 1:6 patient ratio)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Maryland (MD) or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PCU, IMC, or Stepdown unit experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
