Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg travel assignment on a Neuro/Ortho unit, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• 15-bed Neuro/Ortho unit (4 East) in a hospital setting
• Neurological and orthopedic patient population
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and coordinating discharge planning
• Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Navy or maroon scrubs required
