Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with fluoroscopy experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Work in a 5-procedure room Interventional Radiology unit at a 255-bed acute care hospital
• Procedure rooms include 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, and 1 CT-capable room
• Average caseload of 10–15 cases per day
• Cases include joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, nephrostomy and cholecystectomy tube placements and exchanges, abscess drains, port placements, biopsies, thrombectomies, embolizations, chest tube placements, and more
• Charting via Meditech
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Call requirement of 1–2 shifts per week, with the possibility of 1–2 late shifts per week (4:00 PM – 7:00 AM) as needed
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Fluoroscopy experience required
• State license required if applicable
• Current BLS required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
