Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring a minimum of 1 year of LTC/SNF experience and a valid SC or compact RN license.

Details

  • Long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
  • Patient ratio of 1:9–12
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • Weekend work is required
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active SC or compact RN license required (pending license will be considered, but must be obtained prior to start)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of LTC/SNF experience required; 2+ years preferred
  • Comfort and familiarity with LTC/SNF care environments required
  • 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO requests made after initial submission will not be considered
  • A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed; candidates have one attempt
  • The facility enforces an attendance policy: missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review and potential cancellation
