Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 1 year of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency, working nights on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting
• Patient population includes orthopedic and bariatric cases on a telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs — staff will only float to units where competency has been demonstrated
• Medication system: Pyxis
• EMR: Epic (1 year of experience required)

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered but are encouraged to have at least 3 years of MS/Tele experience
• Two professional references required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this night shift MS/Tele position
