Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience, Epic proficiency, and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes orthopedic and bariatric cases on a telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units where competency has been demonstrated
• Medication dispensing via Pyxis
• Epic EMR used; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered; however, a minimum of 3 years of MS/Tele experience is preferred for first-time travelers
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this night shift Med/Tele position
