Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy (Outpatient Diagnostics) position in Oklahoma City, OK, working day shifts on a 13-week travel contract.
Details
- Outpatient Diagnostics (Endoscopy) unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- 13-week contract
- Endoscopy procedures with responsibilities spanning pre-op, circulating, and post-op/recovery
- Epic EMR in use
- Weekends required as needed by the facility
- No call or float requirements
Requirements
- Active OK state RN license or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is documented
- Minimum 1 year of recent endoscopy or pre/post-op experience
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
- No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Endoscopy experience is preferred; at minimum, candidates should have pre/post-op experience
- Ability to circulate endoscopy procedures, work pre-op, and recover patients is highly desirable
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for patient care delivery
- Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
- Light blue scrubs are required and will be provided by the facility
- Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate and are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
