Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Brunswick, ME, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active ME or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting on the 2nd floor
• 11-bed mixed acuity ICU with patient ratios of 2-3:1 depending on acuity
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Variable weekend hours required
• Low census/acuity may result in being placed on-call (downstaffed)
• Travelers are typically not required to float within the unit
• Float to other facilities within a 25-mile radius may be required as needed
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• No travel pairs or groups will be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may be subject to a different bill rate
• Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during the application process
• Hoodies and non-scrub attire are not permitted
