Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Alabama, requiring ACLS and BLS certifications with strong cardiac monitoring experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac and step-down level acuity patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Floating to Med/Surg units is required
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active Alabama RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Prior experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, Telemetry, and/or PCU/Step-down settings required
• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Ability to start IVs, manage Heparin protocols, and manage cardiac drips (no titration) required
