Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring telemetry experience, Epic proficiency, and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Details

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Telemetry patient monitoring is a core component of this role
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• IV certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Proficiency in general nursing skills including IV management, patient monitoring, lab interpretation, medication administration, and patient education
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to pass a telemetry competency test

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (exception: Sterile Processing Techs still require a 30-day break)
